The team at Maple Glen Family Dentistry, headed by Dr. Jackie Szczupakowski, is committed to providing a unique experience based on comprehensive care that is patient focused and relationship centered. We do this to ensure that we understand and treat the whole patient. Our approach uses a process that helps our patients learn about, understand, and appreciate their dental health. We assist each person in creating an individualized care plan toward his/her own goals. Your successes become our successes.

With the advent of many corporate dental offices, we want our friends and family to have a dental home that is private and tailored to each person’s individual needs and desires. We are committed to providing the best care possible to you and your family and we ensure this by giving every patient enough time for a comprehensive appointment during convenient times including evening hours.

Meet The Doctor

Dr. Jackie completed her undergraduate degree at West Virginia University and earned a B.S. in Biology. She is a graduate of The University at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine. After dental school, she continued her education by completing an oncology focused residency at Roswell Park Cancer Institute, caring for our region’s most medically complex patients. Dr. Jackie is committed to learning new techniques and practices the most current dentistry. She is proficient in all aspects of general dentistry, including veneers, crowns, bridges, implants, root canals, and dentures as well as providing conscious sedation for those patients seeking additional relaxation.

Although a native of Orchard Park, Dr. Jackie and her husband Derek, a financial advisor with Mass Mutual, now reside in Williamsville and have two young sons. On the weekends, you can usually find Dr. Jackie and her family cheering on the Bills, Sabres or her alma mater, the West Virginia Mountaineers.

Shannon Benedek

Dental Hygienist

Shannon has been practicing Dental Hygiene for over 15 years. She knew she wanted to become a hygienist after growing up and watching her mom’s passion in the field. Her ultimate goal is to provide every patient with a fun experience while striving to give an exceptional clinical experience.  When Shannon is not at work you can find her walking her yellow lab around Grand Island. She has a twin  sister and the two of them are inseparable. She acts as a second mom to her niece and nephew and soaks in as much family time as possible. If you come to the office and hear someone whistling, it is likely her. She’s a true believer in whistle while you work!

Tiana is the face of Maple Glen and is a constant smiling face ready to help you navigate scheduling your next appointment, understand your benefits or get you a financial plan to create your best smile. Tiana loves animals and loves rescuing both cats and dogs. On the weekends, Tiana loves brunch and exploring new Buffalo restaurants and shops.

Alexxa Poliachik

Patient Care Coordinator

Alexxa’s goal is to make sure that every patient walking through our doors has an excellent experience. She enjoys getting to know our patients, helping to schedule their visits and answering questions about their care. In her free time, Alexxa enjoys spending time with friends, swimming, and playing sudoku.

Emily Mahaney RDH

Dental Hygienist

After practicing dental assisting for five years, Emily decided to continue her education and passion for dentistry by obtaining her license as a Registered Dental Hygienist. Prior to furthering her career in dentistry, Emily graduated from SUNY Oswego in 2014 with her Bachelor’s degree in Communications and Social Interaction. By applying her studies in our office she strives to create and maintain lasting relationships with her patients while reducing their dental fears. Her goal is to provide thorough healthcare in a relaxed and tranquil atmosphere. A native Western New Yorker when she isn’t practicing dental hygiene, Emily enjoys running, camping and rooting for the Bills and Sabres. She is a firm believer that “this is our year.”

Care Coordinator

Mira is Dr. Jackie’s mother and since retiring from her 40 year career with Rich Products has decided to keep busy by helping the doctor and the office with any extra tasks. You can find Mira in the gardens watering and weeding and keeping everything looking beautiful. So be sure to stop and smell the flowers at your next summer visit. When not at the office or babysitting Dr. Jackie’s two children, Mira loves to golf with her husband, Norm, bowl, and travel to visit her son and his family in Utah.

Rebecca is dedicated to outstanding dental care and loves helping patients get their confident smile back. Rebecca loves animals and has a Pomeranian and a rescue cat at home. Rebecca loves Buffalo Sports, cute cat memes and lots of coffee.
